Playwright Abigail James, known for her fascination with revenge tragedies, finds herself embroiled in a real-life one after her Broadway production is vandalized and her team targeted with violence. As the police struggle to find answers, James and her colleagues decide to investigate their own pasts to identify who might have a grudge.
