Murder Ballad

Set in Edinburgh of 1791, this story follows Isobel Duguid and her friend Clessidro as they perform in the Edinburgh Musical Society and enjoy an opulent lifestyle. When a mysterious woman invites Isobel to include her notorious ballad, "The Fiddler's Wrath," in a book, unexpected intrigue and danger begin to surface. As Clessidro goes missing, the narrative explores dark secrets and the haunting nature of revenge, guided by Edinburgh's evocative geography. The edition also features two original songs written by the author and performed by the narrator.
