Passengers and Perils continues the adventures of Conn Labro, a manufactured super soldier, and Jenore Mordene, a former showgirl, as they navigate their life aboard a space yacht offering charter services across the Ten Thousand Worlds. Their journey introduces them to a diverse cast of characters, including cultists, criminals, and aristocrats, amid various perils and encounters with law enforcement and covert operatives. The story expands on their previously shared experiences from the novel Template, exploring new challenges and alliances in a richly imagined sci-fi universe.
