A Room with a View

Set in early 20th century Britain, this satirical tale follows Lucy Honeychurch, a young English woman on her first trip to Italy. While in Florence, she encounters the free-spirited George Emerson and experiences a fleeting moment of passion, which shocks her chaperone, her proper cousin Charlotte. Upon returning to England, Lucy faces a difficult decision between the unconventional George and her more restrained fiancé, Cecil Vyse.
