Skin Hunger

"Skin Hunger" is a short story from Halle Hill’s Good Women that explores the complex emotions and personal reflections of a newlywed Christian woman as she takes a solo vacation. Set in a remote cabin, she contemplates her feelings about her marriage and encounters a compelling stranger, prompting introspection about her relationships and boundaries. The story offers a darkly humorous and deeply human perspective within a broader collection that examines the lives of Black women in the Appalachian South.
