The Scole Confession

Set in 1895 Overstrand, the story follows Lawrence Harpham and Violet Smith as they uncover a series of murders and mysteries linked to a murdered man’s Bible and a past confession. Their investigation spans from Norfolk to Liverpool, revealing connections to an unsolved local murder and unusual deaths recorded in parish registers. As they get closer to the truth, Lawrence confronts a long-held secret about his wife’s death, raising questions about whether they can prevent further tragedy.
