Seventeen-year-old Patrick Roman receives a scholarship to a prestigious hockey preparatory school, aiming for a shot at a Division 1 college team while preparing for his legal emancipation. However, trouble brews with his new teammate, trust-fund kid Damien Bordeaux, as their rocky start evolves into an unexpected friendship, complicating their lives further with legal and personal challenges.
