In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by natural disasters, a team of scavengers operates under strict rules, but engineer Bear defies them by rescuing Salix, a Native American student in need of medical aid. Tensions rise as captains and scavengers clash over her fate, especially when a world-changing device is uncovered during a raid triggered by a tsunami. As Bear fights to protect Salix and the blueprints, they face dangerous pursuit from Captain Baxter, whose obsession threatens everything they hope to save.
