Lee Ofsted, a golf instructor hired for a lucrative teaching gig on picturesque Block Island, finds herself embroiled in a murder investigation when the owner of the salvage company she's working for is found dead after a failed kidnapping incident involving his wife. With nearly every executive having a motive, Lee enlists the help of her boyfriend, a former cop, to delve into a complex web of greed and ambition that traces back nearly 200 years to a sunken treasure ship.
