The Circular Staircase

Twenty-year-old Halsey and 24-year-old Gertrude, relatives of the wealthy spinster Rachel Inness, spend a summer in a large country house rented for the occasion. On their first night, mysterious events unfold, including a fall down the stairs and a man's death at the foot of the staircase, raising questions about his identity and his connection to hidden valuables within the house.
