After years working abroad, Eleanor Trewynn retires to a small town in Cornwall, only to be drawn back into intrigue when she's asked to assist with a secret conference near Tintagel. Concurrently, her niece, Detective Sergeant Megan Pencarrow, investigates the disappearance of a solicitor while providing security for the event.
