Thirteen-year-old Satoshi Matsumoto, a talented young baseball player, returns to his rural Japanese hometown after living in Atlanta for three years. As he adjusts to life back in Japan, he faces challenges reconciling his new foreign-influenced identity with his old ways, while also confronting a childhood rival. His decision to join the school baseball team presents opportunities and risks, testing his skills and resilience.
