Voodoo Planet

"Voodoo Planet" is a 1959 science fiction novella by Andre Norton that follows Dane, Captain Jellico, and medic Tau as they become stranded on the planet Khatka, a world settled by Africans after the Second Atomic War. The story features their encounters with dangerous creatures and their confrontation with an evil witch doctor aiming to seize control of the government. It is the third installment in the "Dane Thorson/Solar Queen" series.
