Dr. Jasmine "Jaz" Quinlan dedicates her life to caring for marine mammals at the California Bay Aquarium, longing to connect with the ocean's creatures over humans. When she takes in a group of beached dolphins, she unexpectedly partners with Trey, a guardian from an undersea civilization who initially resents land-dwellers.
