Fall of the Florios

This third installment of the Florio story explores the decline of Italy’s powerful and notorious family as their dominance in Palermo wanes amid social and economic upheaval. Following Ignazzidu, or Don Ignazio, as he struggles to live up to his family’s legacy, the narrative also highlights the elegance and influence of his wife, Franca, amid a changing world. As economic hardships, war, and personal loss threaten their empire, the Florios confront uncertain futures and the fading of their once-glorious reign.
