Magdeline O'Neil was among the first residents of a Brooklyn apartment building built in 1905 and was the first to die there under mysterious circumstances, her spirit left trapped within the walls. Haunted by the memories of the building's tragic history and the screams of past victims, she finds solace in watching the world outside and creating stories to maintain her sanity. Her connection with a new tenant leads to a growing bond, but it also sparks fears of danger lurking within the building.
