The Photographer's Wife

Set in Jerusalem during the 1920s and 1930s, The Photographer's Wife follows 11-year-old Prudence, known as the 'little witness,' as she observes the city's political and social upheavals through her daily experiences and secrets. As her father embarks on an ambitious plan to redesign the Holy City, Prudence navigates a tense landscape filled with colonial powers, exiled Armenians, and nationalist tensions. Years later, her life takes a dramatic turn when a surprise visitor uncovers long-buried secrets, leading her to confront betrayals across personal and political lines during a turbulent period between the world wars.
