Returning to her small hometown, the protagonist aims to avoid her grumpy ex, JD, who once deeply hurt her. Unexpectedly, she becomes his physical therapist, and he insists she move into his spare room after learning she’s living out of her car. Despite his bossy demeanor, JD shows unexpected care and attention, reigniting memories of their past. However, she is determined not to let history repeat itself.
