The Butcher and the Baker

The women of The Homegrown Café Book Club are all over 40, single, and enjoying life, but their plans for independence get complicated when romance unexpectedly enters their lives. Petra Lochsley, a dedicated butcher with a penchant for axe throwing and candid conversations, is wary of love after multiple broken engagements, while baker Auggie Hofmeier finds himself unexpectedly falling for her. Their budding relationship faces obstacles, including interference from a meddling shop owner, adding humor and tension to their story.
