While landscaping his backyard, Paul Prentice uncovers an iron door that leads him and his friend Jay into a surreal, Escher-like realm filled with monsters and mysterious connections to an old computer game called The Between. Trapped in a confusing and repeating world where roles shift and perceptions distort, they must navigate the dangers that lurk within and confront the mounting threats to their survival.
