In "Drifting in a Dream," the first installment of the Power Wielders series, Kaiya Parks faces an uncertain future as she approaches the end of college. An attempt to seek clarity in the forest leads to her receiving extraordinary powers, placing her in the midst of a long-standing conflict between the ordinary world and dark forces.
