After a cupcake-themed mishap at a photo shoot, Melanie Cooper and Angie DeLaura plan to make amends by hosting a charity-focused corporate boot camp at Fairy Tale Cupcakes, a project devised by billionaire Ian Hannigan. However, their team-building event takes a dark turn when the magazine's creative director is found murdered outside the bakery, prompting Mel and Angie to investigate the crime and solve the mystery before their business is jeopardized.
