Jace Scholte returns to his hometown of Sweet Creek with the goal of supporting a new development project, but his plans are complicated when he reconnects with Tess Kruger, a woman from his past whom he hasn't seen in years. As they work together on a local fundraiser, old feelings resurface, challenging their perceptions of the past.
