Detective Inspector Carol Ashton is investigating three linked murders connected to an international environmentalist group called Gaia's Revenge, whose victims' names appear under “Notable Deletions” on their website. While similar mysterious deaths are occurring abroad among entrepreneurs and magnates accused of environmental vandalism, Australia seems to be the next target. As she navigates these complex cases, Ashton also deals with her son’s legal troubles and a persistent journalist following her every move.
