Jacqueline Finch inherits Three Tomes Bookshop, a charming store where literary characters occasionally come to life, including some reminiscent of witches. When characters like the Artful Dodger and Cinderella appear in her shop, Jacqueline faces unexpected challenges and intriguing mysteries, especially amid a visit from a young woman with a dire request. With help from her friends and some eccentric neighbors, she navigates these fantastical disruptions, all while keeping her wits about her.
