Evangelina Jones, a determined entrepreneur and daughter of an NFL legend, seeks help from her new neighbor, NHL star Drake Benson, after a threatening ex-boyfriend jeopardizes her life. In a bid to protect herself, she agrees to a fake relationship with Drake, whose reputation hides his need for companionship. As their pretend romance develops, both begin to grapple with genuine feelings that challenge their initial agreement, blurring the line between fantasy and reality.
