Twisted Up

Avery Sparks, a fire chief and emergency management leader in Chance, Nebraska, finds her control tested by her lingering feelings for Jake Mitchell, her high school sweetheart who left town after graduation. Jake, now a nationally recognized disaster recovery expert, returns home to help after a devastating tornado and finds himself drawn back to Avery. As they work together to handle the storm's aftermath, they must confront their past and consider whether their rekindled connection can withstand the chaos around them.
