The Forerunner

Kahlil Gibran was a Lebanese-American artist, poet, and writer known worldwide for his inspiring works that explore spiritual ideas through poetry and prose. His book The Forerunner, published in 1920, reflects his developing spiritual thoughts and predates his famous work The Prophet, which has remained in print and widely translated since its release in 1923. Gibran's writings gained renewed popularity during the 1960s counterculture and the New Age movement, and his influence continues to resonate today. The Forerunner was made publicly available in 2017.
