In this sequel to Backwoods and Shivaree, Natalie returns to snowy Rochester expecting a quiet life, but her plans are disrupted when Shane unexpectedly shows up at her workplace. Seeking a fresh start after a tumultuous year with his lover Gabriel, Shane attempts to escape his past and regain control of his life by staying with Natalie.
