Death at the Tavern

Set against a hot and humid summer in 1931 Boston, this story follows Dr. Haley Higgins, who remains dedicated to uncovering justice for her brother's longstanding unsolved murder, while also working as a city pathologist’s assistant. Investigative reporter Samantha Hawke, driven by a desire for recognition and a fresh start, teams up with Haley amid a new murder case at the Bell in Hand Tavern. As their paths intertwine, both women share the common goal of catching the killer—and ensuring their own safety—during a time of both crime and personal determination.
