The Silver Key

"The Silver Key," a fantasy short story by H. P. Lovecraft, was written in 1926 and is part of his Dreamlands series. First published in the January 1929 issue of Weird Tales, it continues the adventures of Randolph Carter, the recurring protagonist, following "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath." The narrative is later expanded in its sequel, "Through the Gates of the Silver Key," co-written with E. Hoffmann Price.
