The Incurables

In 1953, Dr. Walter Freeman, a disgraced psychiatrist, travels across the country advocating for the controversial transorbitol lobotomy as a cure for various mental illnesses. His arrival in the troubled town of Burnwood plunges him into a chaotic world filled with eccentric characters, including a messianic preacher and violent individuals, challenging his beliefs and mental stability. The narrative explores the dangers of blind faith and the often grotesque nature of human belief in salvation.
