Randall Graves, a reserved software developer, is unexpectedly sent on a vacation to a cozy beachfront bed and breakfast in Bloody Point, South Carolina, where he hopes to work and unwind. There, he encounters Tulla Nirvelli, a single mother and B&B owner, along with her young son, and begins to feel a sense of community and connection. As challenges arise for Tulla and her family, Randall considers stepping in to help, but doing so may require him to share a carefully kept secret. The story explores themes of unexpected change and the bonds that can form in unlikely circumstances.
