Seven, a dedicated hockey player, finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Brynn, a romance author with writer's block, when they are stranded together during a hurricane at his beach house in Mexico. As they spend time in close proximity, both confront their own emotional barriers and teeter on the edge of deeper connection. However, complications arise when Brynn plans to reunite with her ex after returning to Seattle, forcing Seven to decide whether to let go or fight for a love he never anticipated.
