Ava Valentine, a time-traveling bounty hunter from the future, finds herself in present-day New York City tracking a fugitive and unexpectedly crosses paths with a mysterious soldier known as Dexter Stone, who is suspected to be a vampire. Forced into an uneasy alliance by a shared past threat, Ava begins to realize that her future— and perhaps her very safety—may depend on her connection with him.
