Peace on Our Terms

"Peace on Our Terms" chronicles the inspiring efforts of women from around the world who, despite being excluded from formal negotiations, organized independently to champion women's rights and social justice during the pivotal year of 1919. Through their activism across continents, these women played a vital role in shaping emerging democratic institutions and global governance, asserting that lasting peace depends on recognizing the equality and humanity of all people. Mona L. Siegel’s comprehensive account highlights how their bold actions left a lasting imprint on history and the pursuit of global peace.
