Crooked Adam

Set in 1940, this story follows Adam Southey, a man unable to fight in the war due to an injury, who becomes involved in a secret struggle alongside a brilliant scientist, Dr. Sam Cooke. As enemy agents pursue plans for a deadly weapon, Adam and Dr. Cooke move to the Scottish Highlands to build a working model, where danger and intrigue unfold. Amidst the rugged landscape, Adam also encounters Brenda, a young woman in peril, adding a personal dimension to the perilous conflict.
