Set in a toxic wasteland reminiscent of "Z for Zachariah" and "Mad Max," this darkly humorous debut follows a girl from outer space and an aging scavenger as they navigate the dangerous ruins of a long-ago war. After Diane crash-lands on Earth, she forms a tense alliance with Virgil, a lone scavenger with a mechanical battle suit, as they confront a mysterious new threat.
