Seth Simms, who never considered himself a cowboy, finds himself back in Lang Downs after years away, feeling uncertain about acceptance due to his personal struggles. His friend Jason Thompson has always dreamed of returning to Lang Downs as a veterinarian and jackaroo, hoping to spend time with Seth along the way, despite believing Seth is straight. When Seth unexpectedly makes Lang Downs his home again, Jason sees a chance to deepen their connection, but navigating their relationship proves complicated by Seth's underlying issues and coping mechanisms.
