Steering Toward Normal

Eighth grader Diggy Lawson looks forward to a promising year at the Minnesota State Fair with plans to showcase his calf and spend time with his crush, July. However, when he discovers that his classmate Wayne Graf is actually his half-brother—due to his dad Pop's hidden past—Diggy's world is turned upside down. As Wayne moves in and disrupts Diggy's life, the two boys navigate jealousy, rivalry, and unexpected challenges, ultimately learning what it means to be brothers and redefine their understanding of family.
