Marikit and the Ocean of Stars

Marikit, accustomed to wearing recycled clothes crafted by her talented mother, receives a patchwork dress for her tenth birthday that she initially refuses to wear. When shadow creatures invade her home, she is transported to the magical lands of the Engkantos, where her dress reveals itself as a map guiding her through enchanted realms. Along her journey, she befriends mythical creatures and faces challenges in her quest to save her family, encountering both monsters and gods along the way.
