Shield of the Mighty

Zevi, a formidable warrior and captain in King Saul’s army, is tasked with recruiting soldiers and gathering tribute, but his mission takes him to Maresha, a town that has rejected the king and faces external threats. In his travels, he meets Yochana, a skilled widow whose own past hurts are reignited by Zevi’s presence and mission. As their lives become intertwined, they must navigate immediate dangers while confronting the lingering shadows of their histories.
