Hearts Divided

Set during the tumult of 1852 Virginia and the onset of the Civil War, this series explores the unlikely friendship between two girls—one free, one enslaved—whose bond faces the challenges of a divided nation. Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy named Levi grapples with his responsibilities, beliefs, and growing feelings amidst the upheaval of war.
