Bubba Mabry is a witty private eye hired as a security guard for a celebrity who is, surprisingly, Elvis himself, back from the dead. When Bubba is tasked with monitoring a persistent fan and a tabloid hack, the situation escalates after two bodies are found, and he becomes the prime suspect. With his alibi, Elvis, mysteriously gone, Bubba must unravel the mystery while navigating a cast of femmes fatales and relentless reporters in his quest to find the "king."
