In Panpocalypse, a queer disabled woman named Orpheus navigates a locked-down New York City during the coronavirus pandemic, driven by the longing for her ex-girlfriend, Eurydice. Armed with a newly acquired bicycle, she embarks on a journey to find a mysterious underground bar, Le Monocle, reminiscent of a 1930s Parisian lesbian club. This novel explores themes of love, isolation, and resilience in the face of societal upheaval, as Orpheus grapples with her past and the possibility of connection amid a world in turmoil.
