The Hound of the Baskervilles

The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third crime novel in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series, originally serialized between 1901 and 1902. Set on Dartmoor in Devon, the story follows Holmes and Dr. Watson as they investigate an attempted murder linked to a legendary, supernatural hound said to curse the Baskerville family. When heir Sir Henry Baskerville receives a mysterious warning and becomes the target of danger, Holmes and Watson embark on a mission to unravel the mystery and protect him from the looming threat. This novel marked the iconic detective's return after his supposed demise in The Final Problem.
