Every year, the Imperium tests young adults as part of their transition into maturity, sending new Magi to a challenging Academy to learn essential magic for defending the realm. Jack, who originally aimed to be a legionnaire, unexpectedly becomes a War Magi and faces the perilous trials of the academy. His journey explores whether he can survive the dangers and prove himself capable of truly becoming a War Magi, or if he will fall into the shadow of others' ambitions.
