At 19, Ron Bancroft embarks on a journey west to Wyoming, searching for a fresh start after being kicked out by his family and jilted by his girlfriend. As a newly out transgender man, he aims to define his identity and prove himself in a rugged landscape. However, he soon confronts a world fraught with bigotry, while also navigating his feelings for an intriguing young woman.
