The Extra

In "Next Stop Hollywood!", fifteen-year-old Lilo and her friend Django are taken from their harsh reality as Gypsy prisoners to work as extras in a film directed by the infamous Leni Riefenstahl. As they navigate the glamorous yet oppressive world of the film set, they face the grim reality of their situation, finding themselves minimally fed and watched over closely. Lilo's courage emerges as she confronts the dangers around her, leading her to take bold actions in a landscape that blurs the line between survival and deceit.
