Warren Bullock, a man struggling with a sinister voice urging violence, embarks on a journey through southeastern Kansas following a series of mysterious disappearances, including that of his father's friend. When his father goes missing while investigating, Warren seizes the opportunity to confront his dark impulses. His quest leads him to a suspicious inn run by the unsettling Bender family, where he suspects they may be linked to the disappearances—and possibly his father's fate. Determined to uncover the truth, Warren must navigate his own inner turmoil while confronting the malevolent forces around him.
